Wrexham's Ollie Palmer was jokingly threatened with a 'loan to Siberia' as the striker took a dig at club chief Humphrey Ker.

ToggleWrexham director Ker shared a clip of comedian Josh Pugh on his Instagram story, where he can be seen mocking runners. Ker, who is preparing to run the London Marathon, claimed that Palmer sent him the video and said that the type of person Pugh was imitating was just like the Red Dragons chief.

In his Instagram story, Ker jokingly wrote: "Been sent this by O Palmer, who tells me this is 'just like me'. Looking forward to playing my part in arranging a loan to Siberia for him next season."

Veteran Palmer has made a significant contribution to Wrexham's meteoric rise in the last few seasons. He was an integral part of Phil Parkinson's sides that secured back-to-back promotion from the National League to League One. The striker, however, has struggled for form in the 2024-25 campaign as he has scored only three goals across all competitions and has not featured in the club's matchday squad in their last 16 league games.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's side will be back in action in League One on Saturday as they take on Charlton in a crucial clash.
